A highly anticipated new event venue in central Torquay has announced its first acts.

Arena Torquay will be a state-of-the-art space for music, theatre, comedy, and cultural events, with a standing capacity of 1,200 and seating for 450.
Directors Steve Garratt and Dan Sheldon said: “Arena Torquay represents the next chapter in Torquay’s cultural scene, providing a stage for top-class performances, local talent, and everything in between.”
Preparations are well underway, and the venue has now launched its official website.
You can now book tickets for a variety of events, starting with a concert by legendary Irish folk rock band Hothouse Flowers on Saturday, June 14.
Other upcoming events include highly regarded tribute acts to some of the world’s biggest bands and a performance by the iconic dancer and percussionist, Bez.
